이 책은 어떤 다른 세계에 관해, 그곳에 생육하는 동,식물과 사람, 신 등에 대해 쓴 상상의 보고서이다. 동쪽 어떤 바닷속에 빠진 '김려'라는 가상의 인물 시점에서 기록된 책으로, 작가인 정혜정이 역자로 등장하여 '김려'의 기록들과 그가 겪은 경험을 전하는 형식으로 꾸며져있다. ‘김려’가 겪은 경험들과 기록들이 84종의 상상생물들의 드로잉과 설명이 조합된 도감의 형태로 정리되어 있다.
This book is a report about mammals, plants, humans , and gods residing in another world. It is written from a perspective of a fictional character called 'Kim Ryeo' who has been drowned somewhere in the eastern sea, the format has been set as the artist Hye-Jung Jung working as a translator to lay out his experience and records. The experience and the records that 'Kim Ryeo' went through has been organized with drawings and the explanations of imaginative creatures.

정혜정은 영상, 설치, 드로잉, 페인팅을 넘나들며 스토리텔링을 한다. 2011년 그림손갤러리에서 '서울개미와 잃어버린 여행가방'이라는 두번째 개인전을 하였고, 다른 공간과 시점을 넘나들며 장소에 반응하며 다른 어떤 세계, 새로운 공간을 만들어간다. 작가는 세계를 이해하는 표현, 상상들을 촉각적인 감성을 통해 일침을 가한다.
Hye-Jung Jung does storytelling through video, installation, drawing, painting. In 2011 at Grimson Gallery, she launched her second exhibition called 'Seoul ant and a lost travel bag', moving back and forth from another space and perspective which reflects on another space, and another world that creates a new space. The artist adds admonition when expressing the understanding of the world, imaginations through through tactile emotions.
