데드 레터 오피스는 더 북 소사이어티의 복간 프로젝트이다.
더 이상 유통되지 않는 책이나 글, 사건, 사물, 전시, 장소들을 다시 방문하는 프로젝트로 과거를 추모하거나 기억하기 위한 것은 아니다.
어떤 과거는 현재를 통해 더욱 선명해질 수 있지만 그것을 인식할 수 있는 특정한 조건을 만들 필요가 있다.
데드 레터 오피스는 이 특정한 조건을 다양한 형식의 결과물로 생산하기 위한 플랫폼이다.
Dead Letter Office is a revival project.
It is a project to revisit books, texts, exhibitions, accidents, objects and places that are no longer distributed.
This project is not meant to remember or to cherish the past.
Some past can become clearer through the present, but it is necessary to make certain conditions to recognize it.
Dead Letter Office is a platform for producing these specific conditions in a variety of forms.
