《Yes, BOOK!》은 아틀리에 호코(Atelier HOKO)의 전시 《BOOK?》에 대한 응답으로 제작된 리소그래프 진이다. 책과 인간의 관계를 탐구했던 《BOOK?》 전시는 “책이란 무엇인가”라는 질문을 중심으로, 읽기 행위와 매체의 물성을 새롭게 사유하는 장을 열었다. 공간 속에서 책과 독자가 만나는 방식을 실험한 이 전시는, 책 자체의 물성과 감각으로부터 대답을 요구하는 자리이기도 했다.
《Yes, BOOK!》은 전시에 소개된 18개의 작품 캡션과 전시 준비 과정에서 아틀리에 호코가 남긴 드로잉을 담아, 전시의 전후 맥락을 한 권의 인쇄물로 이어낸다. 특히 리소그래프 인쇄로 제작된 이 진은 잉크와 종이의 질감을 통해 전시의 질문에 다시 응답하며, 전시장에서의 경험을 책의 시간과 물성으로 확장시킨다. 또한 일본 TOKIO ART BOOK FAIR와 도쿄의 복합 문화 공간 SKWAT Kameari Art Centre에서 전개된 전시 전경을 수록하고 있다. 《Yes, BOOK!》은 2025년 9월 11일부터 14일까지 주한독일문화원에서 열린 《북북 페스티벌》의 아틀리에 호코 전시 《BOOK?》을 계기로 발행되었다.

Yes, BOOK! is a risograph zine created in response to Atelier HOKO’s exhibition BOOK?. The exhibition explored the relationship between books and readers, opening up a space to reconsider the act of reading and the materiality of media around the question, “What is a book?” By experimenting with how books and readers encounter one another in space, the exhibition ultimately demanded an answer from the material and sensory qualities of the book itself.
Yes, BOOK! carries the captions of 18 works presented in the exhibition, along with drawings made by Atelier HOKO during the preparation process, weaving together the contexts before and after the exhibition into a single printed form. Produced with risograph printing, the zine responds once more to the exhibition’s questions through the textures of ink and paper, extending the experience of the exhibition into the temporal and material domain of the book. It also includes views of the exhibition as presented at TOKIO ART BOOK FAIR and at the cultural complex SKWAT Kameari Art Centre in Tokyo. Yes, BOOK! was published on the occasion of Atelier HOKO’s exhibition BOOK? at the BookBook Festival, held at the Goethe-Institut Korea from September 11 to 14, 2025.
